Red Magic 11 Air Specifications Surface: Massive Battery Meets Active Cooling

Last Updated: December 29, 2025

Fresh reports from the supply chain indicate that Nubia is preparing to redefine the “thin-and-light” gaming smartphone category with the imminent release of the Red Magic 11 Air. According to a reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station (DCS) is coupled with a new certification listing on China’s TENAA platform.

The device bearing model number NX799J is poised to deliver flagship-tier stamina in a chassis effectively slimmer than many standard flagships. If accurate, these leaks point to a significant engineering pivot: prioritizing battery density and thermal management over the photographic versatility seen in previous generations.

Red Magic 11 Air Specs (Exp.)

The core data points from the TENAA listing paint a picture of a device that seemingly defies traditional internal spacing constraints. The alleged Red Magic 11 Air measures just 7.85mm in thickness and weighs approximately 207 grams.

Despite this slender profile, the leak suggests the inclusion of a massive 7,000mAh battery. To contextualize this “alleged” specification, fitting a cell of this capacity into a sub-8mm body would likely require advanced silicon-carbon battery technology, marking a substantial leap over the 6,000mAh range seen in the Red Magic 10 series.

Furthermore, the reports confirm the presence of the company’s signature active cooling fan. Integrating a physical turbofan into a chassis this thin without compromising structural integrity or increasing thickness represents a complex mechanical challenge that, if successful, could set a new industry standard for thermal efficiency in compact devices.

Red Magic 11 Air support up to 24GB of RAM

The leaked specifications also detail a 6.85-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, paired with a 16-megapixel under-display front camera, ensuring an unobstructed visual experience typical of the brand. Internally, the Red Magic 11 Air is expected to support up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, signaling that “Air” does not imply “Lite” performance. However, the technical evolution is not strictly upward.

The leak points to a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. When compared to the previous Red Magic 10 Air, which featured a dual 50-megapixel array, this appears to be a calculated downgrade. It suggests that Nubia is reallocating internal volume and bill-of-materials costs away from imaging optics to accommodate the larger battery and active cooling mechanism.

While unconfirmed, these changes suggest the company is pivoting towards a purist gaming philosophy for the Airline. By seemingly sacrificing ultra-wide camera resolution, Red Magic appears to be doubling down on the metrics that matter most to its core demographic: sustained performance and screen-on time.

The skepticism here lies in the thermal physics; cooling a high-performance chipset and a 7,000mAh battery in a 7.85mm enclosure is risky. If the active fan can effectively mitigate heat in such a confined space, the Red Magic 11 Air could be a marvel. If not, it risks thermal throttling that would negate its on-paper advantages.
