Realme Neo8 Certification Details Surface: Key Specifications Linked to RMX8899

Fresh reports from the supply chain indicate that the next performance-focused smartphone from Realme is moving closer to an official debut. A device carrying the model number RMX8899, widely believed to be the Realme Neo8, recently appeared in China’s 3C (CCC) quality certification database on December 26.

Leaks Highlight
  • The device (Model RMX8899) passed 3C certification on Dec 26
  • It is rumored to feature a 8,000mAh battery, a significant jump from the previous 7,000mAh standard
  • The phones Expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
  • Leaks suggest a metal frame, glass body, IP68 rating, and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor

This follows the device successfully clearing the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s network access certification and the SRRC certification earlier this month, on December 9. With all three major certifications now finalized, industry watchers suggest the device is effectively ready for its commercial release.

Realme Neo8 Certification:

According to sources, the 3C listing confirms that the Realme Neo8 will be sold with power adapters bearing the model numbers VCB8CACH and VCB8OACH. If accurate, this documentation points to a maximum charging power of 80W (11V 7.3A). While the 80W figure is a slight departure from the 100W or 120W speeds seen on some of the brand’s premium offerings, the technical trade-off appears to be in favor of sheer capacity.

Previous leaks from the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station suggest the phone will feature a massive 8,000mAh battery. For comparison, the previous model in this series featured a 7,000mAh cell, marking a significant leap in energy density for the upcoming generation.

Key Specifications:

Under the hood, the Realme Neo8 is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. This shift to a flagship-tier Snapdragon chipset, if verified, would represent a substantial performance boost over the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ found in its predecessor.

The hardware suite is reportedly rounded out by a premium build featuring a metal frame and a glass body design. Other high-end inclusions mentioned in supply chain leaks include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor – a notable upgrade over traditional optical scanners – and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

While unconfirmed, these changes suggest the company is pivoting towards a “performance-and-endurance” flagship strategy. The combination of a top-tier Snapdragon processor and an industry-leading 8,000mAh battery suggests that Realme aims to dominate the sub-flagship market by offering multi-day battery life without compromising speed.

Although certification photos have not yet been released, the device is tentatively scheduled for a January 2026 launch. If these data points hold, the Realme Neo8 could set a new benchmark for power efficiency and longevity in the coming year.
