A new leak from tipster Alvin suggests the vivo X300 Ultra will feature a 7,000mAh battery and a dual 200MP camera system. The information surfaced on X today, showing a 6.82-inch 2K OLED screen and a custom 5MP multispectral sensor.
The vivo X300 Ultra has been officially confirmed for a global preview at MWC Barcelona (March 2–5, 2026) and is expected to launch in India later this year. But today’s data dump gives us the raw specs well ahead of schedule.
The vivo X300 Ultra Leaked Details: What’s Under the Hood?
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
- Display: 6.82-inch 2K OLED with LTPO tech for smooth, variable refresh rates.
- Battery & Charging: A massive 7,000mAh cell pushing 100W wired and 40W wireless charging.
- OS: OriginOS 6 running on Android 16.
- Cameras (Co-engineered with ZEISS):
- Primary: 200MP Sony LYT-901 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).
- Telephoto: 200MP periscope lens (Samsung HPB) with 3.5x optical zoom and macro focus.
- Ultra-Wide: 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor.
- The Wildcard: A custom 5MP multispectral sensor for extreme color accuracy.
Note: While this leak focuses on the top-tier device, supply chain whispers suggest the base X300 and X300 Pro models will max out at a 6000mAh battery and lack the dual 200MP setup. The true power upgrades are reserved exclusively for the Ultra.

X200 Ultra vs. vivo X300 Ultra
How does this compare to last year’s predecessor? The X200 Ultra gave us a 6000mAh battery, a 50MP main sensor, and 90W charging. The jump to 7,000mAh and a 200MP main sensor is a massive leap. We are talking about a 16% larger battery and four times the raw megapixel count on the primary shooter.
My Take
I’ve seen this pattern before with Vivo. They love to test the boundaries of smartphone photography. Tipster Alvin has a solid track record, and the timing makes total sense with MWC 2026 right around the corner.
Let’s talk about that processor. Running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 means this device is built for heavy AI computing. I suspect a lot of that raw power will be dedicated to crunching the massive image files generated by those dual 200MP sensors. Managing heat will be their biggest hurdle here.
The 7,000mAh battery is the real shocker. A battery that size in a flagship phone usually means a thicker chassis. But with the rapid advancements in high-density silicon-carbon battery tech we’ve seen lately, they might just pull it off without making the phone feel like a brick.
I honestly think the dual 200MP setup is a bit of a marketing flex. But that custom 5MP multispectral sensor? That is the exact upgrade I’ve been waiting for. Most phones struggle with accurate skin tones under mixed or harsh lighting. If they actually nail this tech, the vivo X300 Ultra will completely embarrass the competition in portrait photography.
That said, I have major reservations about the weight. The X200 Ultra was already heavy at 229g. If the vivo X300 Ultra crosses the 240g mark, it might be too bulky for everyday users. Specs look great on paper, but ergonomics matter.
The Verdict: Should You Wait?
If you are holding onto a phone from 2023 or 2024, keep your wallet closed for now and wait for March. The leap in battery life alone is worth it, not to mention a camera array that reads like a spec sheet for a dedicated mirrorless camera. But if you just bought a premium flagship last year, you can probably sit this one out.
I’ll be watching the MWC announcements closely to see if these numbers hold up. Until then, keep your expectations grounded. Will you be upgrading to the vivo X300 Ultra?
