Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed key details about Huawei’s upcoming ‘Xingmang’ smartphone, pointing to a new sub-brand strategy.
The ‘Huawei Xingmang’ project literally translates to ‘Huawei Starlight’; however, the company may choose a different name for the international market.
Huawei Xingmang Specifications (Leak)
According to a report by DCS, Huawei’s first ‘Xingmang’ device will feature a wide-screen candybar form factor with a compact 6.39-inch display.
This design ensures that, despite the large screen size, the device remains much easier to use with one hand compared to the large-format phablets currently on the market.

The phone runs on a flagship-grade Kirin 9000 series chipset. For complex multitasking, the top-tier variant comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage.
According to previously leaked information, the Huawei Starlight series may target the mid-range market by utilizing processors from the Kirin 8-series.
This series could encompass a variety of devices, ranging from affordable mid-range models to those equipped with high-performance hardware from the Kirin 9000 series.
Various reports indicate that these phones will come with Huawei’s proprietary operating system, HarmonyOS, pre-installed.

Furthermore, these handsets will feature Huawei’s own ‘XMAGE’ imaging technology, positioning them as direct competitors to devices from brands such as Redmi or iQOO.
Expected Launch Timeline
It could hit the market as early as next month. Featuring an XMAGE camera and a Kirin 9000 series processor packed into a compact body, the Huawei Xingmang is truly worth the wait, especially if you are looking for a device that fits easily into your pocket while still delivering flagship-level performance.
