Redmi Note 15 Price in India Leaked: Why Fans Are Upset With the ₹23,000 Tag

Last Updated: December 29, 2025

The wait is almost over, but the Redmi Note 15 Price in India might be higher than fans expected. With the phone confirmed to launch on January 6, a massive leak has revealed the box pricing. While the phone promises a premium curved design, the leaked details suggest Xiaomi is leaving the budget category behind.

According to the latest report from industry insiders, the Redmi Note 15 Price in India is expected to see an increase compared to last year’s Note 14.

Leaked Redmi Note 15 Price in India:

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage: ₹22,999
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage: ₹24,999

Looking at the specifications, the Redmi Note 15 Price in India of ₹22,999 seems to be justified by the new curved display and OIS camera.

  • Display: A stunning 6.7-inch Curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is clearly the phone’s selling point.
  • Processor: It runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. It’s a capable 4nm efficient chip, but it is not a performance beast for hardcore gaming.
  • Camera: A 108MP Primary Camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
  • Battery: A slight upgrade to a 5,520mAh battery paired with 45W charging.

When you look at the specs-to-price ratio, the situation gets tricky. Last year, the Redmi Note 14 provided incredible value at ₹19,999. Now, at ₹23,000, the Redmi Note 15 is entering the territory of the Moto Edge 60 Fusion and the OnePlus Nord CE 5, both of which offer faster charging or better raw performance.

In my opinion, this pricing puts the Redmi Note 15 in a dangerous spot. If you are a casual user who values a beautiful curved screen, all-day battery life, and a decent camera for Instagram, this phone is still a solid buy. The in-hand feel is likely going to be the best in this segment.

However, if you are a gamer, this price is disappointing. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is good, but at ₹23,000, we expected at least a 7s Gen 3 or a Dimensity 8300. If performance is your priority, you might be better off waiting for the Poco X7 Pro or grabbing a discounted deal on last year’s flagship killers. Xiaomi is clearly banking on “Looks” over “Power” this year—we’ll have to wait until January 6 to see if that gamble pays off.
