Better Than the Ultra? Vivo X300s Packs Dimensity 9500+ & 7,000mAh Power

Fresh reports from the supply chain indicate that Vivo is preparing an incremental but significant update to its flagship lineup. According to sources on Weibo, specifically the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, a new model dubbed the Vivo X300s is currently in development.

Leaks Highlight
  • The Vivo X300s is powered by the Dimensity 9500 Plus chipset
  • X300s features a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED flat screen with slim bezels, moving away from curved edges
  • The device features a circular module with a 200MP main sensor and a periscope telephoto lens
  • It includes an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and waterproof build

If accurate, this device aims to bridge the gap between the standard flagship and the upcoming Ultra variant, focusing heavily on endurance and display refinements. The leak suggests that Vivo is doubling down on “big battery” technology to address the growing power demands of high-performance mobile chipsets and high-resolution screens.

Vivo X300s Specifications (Leaked)

The leaked data points toward a substantial technical evolution for the Vivo X300s compared to its predecessors. According to the tipster, the device will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED screen. Unlike the curved panels often seen in this segment,

the Vivo X300s is expected to feature a flat display surrounded by equally sized, slim bezels on all four sides. Under the hood, the phone will allegedly debut the Dimensity 9500 Plus chipset, which is likely an overclocked version of the standard Dimensity 9500 found in the base X300.

Perhaps the most striking detail in this leak is the battery capacity. If the reports are correct, the Vivo X300s will pack a massive 7,000mAh battery. For comparison, the standard Vivo X300 features a 6,040mAh cell, marking a nearly 1,000mAh increase. This move suggests a pivot toward extreme longevity, possibly at the cost of a slightly thicker chassis.

On the imaging front, sources claim the rear will house a circular camera module featuring a 200-megapixel main sensor and a periscope telephoto lens. Other high-end inclusions mentioned in the leak include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and a waterproof build, ensuring it maintains its flagship status.

While unconfirmed, these changes suggest the company is pivoting towards a “power-user” niche that prioritizes screen real estate and multi-day battery life. A 7,000mAh battery in a mainstream flagship body would be a first for the industry, potentially setting a new benchmark for competitors.

However, as with all early supply chain leaks, these specifications should be treated with caution until the manufacturer provides official documentation. If Vivo can successfully balance the weight of such a large battery with the sleek aesthetics of the Vivo X300s, it could represent a major shift in flagship design priorities for 2026.
