A new Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Geekbench listing has just surfaced, confirming that this device runs on the massive Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. I’m freaking out because this tablet hits an AnTuTu score over 3 million, which basically destroys most laptops I use.
The Speed is Honestly Scary
This thing is fast. Seriously fast. The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Geekbench scores show it hitting 3021 in single-core and 8924 in multi-core. That is wild.
You get the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a tiny 3nm processor with eight cores screaming at 4.32GHz. I dug into the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Geekbench details, and the performance implications are wild. What does that mean for you?

- Gaming: You can play heavy games at native resolution without a single frame drop.
- Work: You can edit 4K video, and the device won’t even sweat.
- Multitasking: The base model starts with 8GB of RAM (and likely goes higher), so you can keep a dozen apps open and switch between them instantly.
Compare that to the predecessor, the Pad 7 Pro, which only scored around 1.9 million on AnTuTu. This is a massive leap forward.
A Screen You Can Actually See Outside
The Pro features an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD with a sharp 3200 × 2136 resolution. Everything looks crisp. Plus, the 144Hz refresh rate makes scrolling through your feed feel buttery smooth and instant.
But here is my favorite part: It hits 800 nits of brightness. Most tablets are dim and hard to use outside. With 800 nits, I can sit on my sunny balcony and actually see the movie I’m watching. If you hate glare, there is a “Matte Edition” with AG nano-texture etching. It cuts glare by 99 percent and reflections by 70 percent. No more seeing your own face during dark movie scenes.
Don’t Ignore the Standard Model
While the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Geekbench results are stealing the headlines, the standard Pad 8 looks amazing too.

It packs a huge 9,200 mAh battery. That is enough juice to watch videos for hours without hunting for a wall outlet. When you do need to plug in, the 45W charging tops it up quickly.
It is also incredibly thin at 5.75mm and weighs just 485g. You can hold it in one hand to read, and it won’t tire your wrist. Even with the slightly slower Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, it still comes with 12GB of RAM, making it surprisingly capable for everyday use.
My Verdict
Who is this for? If you are a casual user who just watches Netflix, the standard Pad 8 is perfect. But if you saw the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Geekbench charts and know you need that specific multi-core power for gaming, the Pro is a no-brainer. The performance jump from the Pad 7 Pro is huge.
I am definitely buying the Pro for that screen and processor combo. The performance is just too good to ignore. Keep an eye out for more news following this Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Geekbench reveal!
