Brands are pulling back on complex camera hardware to offer much bigger batteries and screens. The upcoming Redmi 15A 5G fits this trend perfectly.
For context, the Redmi 14 5G series (specifically the Note 14 5G) launched in late 2024. That phone started at around Rs 15,499. It gave us a premium 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS. It even featured an ultra-wide lens. Now, Xiaomi is taking a completely different route. They are dropping the high-end camera tech to focus purely on raw endurance.
