Built using cutting-edge 2-nanometer (2nm) technology, the Snapdragon 8EE6 processor has surpassed even the benchmarks set by the Dimensity 9500 chip. It is currently considered the most powerful 2-nanometer flagship Android SoC on the market.
One of the key features of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series is its new M11 luminescent panel, which boasts ultra-slim 0.99mm bezels. This display is capable of delivering a peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits and operates more efficiently than standard 2K resolution panels.
Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro incorporates the ‘Privacy Display’ technology found in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company claims that its version offers superior privacy protection features compared to Samsung’s technology.
Official specifications for the Xiaomi 18 Pro series confirm that the two models will feature different processors. The standard Pro model is equipped with the base ‘Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6‘ processor, while the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max model houses the faster ‘Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro‘ chipset.
Complementing its processing power, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max also incorporates high-end camera hardware. It features a Leica-branded 200-megapixel dual main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope sensor with OIS.
Battery capacity has been significantly increased for both models. The Xiaomi 18 Pro features a 7,000mAh battery, while the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max comes with a massive 8,500mAh battery.
Both devices support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Additionally, the standard Pro model holds both IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro series is set to officially launch in China on September 23. However, details regarding its global availability and international pricing have not yet been announced.

Last year, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max 5G was released featuring a 7,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery. It is worth noting that neither the Xiaomi 17 Pro nor the 17 Pro Max was launched in India.
The price of the top-tier model may see a slight increase this year. While the starting price of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max was CNY 4,999 (approximately ₹71,400), the new Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is expected to be priced at CNY 5,999 (approximately ₹90,000 in India).
