Tipster Yogesh Brar has shared a leaked image that offers a first glimpse of this much-discussed smartphone. Coming just months after the Reno 16 launched in July, this Oppo Reno 17 leak confirms key details about the device’s design and hardware.
The leaked image reveals a clean white finish, a flat back panel, and a square camera module. The volume and power buttons are on the right side, while the left side is completely smooth; the Oppo logo sits on the lower part of the phone.
Oppo Reno 17 Leak Specifications
Leaked specifications for the Oppo Reno 17 reveal that it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. The use of this chip, the same one found in the Reno 16, suggests that the device’s performance for daily tasks and gaming will remain consistent with the previous generation.
On the software front, the phone runs on ColorOS 17, which is based on Android 17. Additionally, it features a powerful battery with a capacity exceeding 7,000mAh, capable of lasting for several days on a single charge.
On the back, there are three 50-megapixel sensors: a main sensor, an ultra-wide sensor, and a telephoto sensor. Two of these lenses are housed within an elongated, pill-shaped module, which also contains the third lens and an LED flash.
According to a tipster named ‘Smart Pikachu’ on Weibo, two models of the Oppo Reno 17 could launch in China as early as the beginning of November. The information suggests the inclusion of a dedicated hardware AI button, advanced features for live video streaming, built-in photo editing tools, and a 200-megapixel main rear camera sensor.
Oppo Reno 17 Expected India Pricing and Availability
The standard Oppo Reno 17 model is expected to arrive in India by January 2027, with a potential price range of ₹60,000 to ₹70,000. According to various reports, the more advanced Reno 17 Pro model will not be released in the Indian market.
