The upcoming HMD Aura 2 Pro is finally bringing a significant upgrade over the average-quality screen found on its predecessor. We now have the full specifications of the HMD Aura 2 Pro, which clearly reveal the features this entry-level device brings to the table.
HMD Aura 2 Pro Rumour Specifications
Those expecting massive improvements compared to the older HMD Aura 2 might need to reconsider their expectations, as the brand is introducing a slightly larger 6.75-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel this time around.
The most significant change in the HMD Aura 2 Pro’s features is its 90Hz refresh rate. This means that the experience of scrolling through apps will feel much smoother compared to the slower 6.52-inch 60Hz screen of the previous model.
The company plans to sell the phone in ‘Ice Blue’ and ‘Charcoal Black’ colors. Additionally, it features an IP52 rating for protection against light rain, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and standard Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

The phone is powered by a standard MediaTek Helio G81 processor. This budget-friendly chip is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
This hardware handles everyday tasks well, but power users should look for a different phone. To compensate for the weak processor, HMD has used Android 15 Go Edition, which is powered by lightweight software specifically designed for entry-level phones.
The battery life remains completely unchanged compared to last year. The HMD Aura 2 Pro uses the exact same 5,000 mAh battery found in the previous model, the HMD Aura 2.

It will take hours for the phone to fully charge. This is because the battery only supports very slow 10-watt charging.
While the rear camera system looks quite impressive on paper, there is a different reality behind it. It features a sharp 50-megapixel main camera, accompanied by a practically useless 0.08-megapixel sensor and an average-quality 2-megapixel lens.
It features a standard 5-megapixel selfie camera for front-facing video calls. The official price of the upcoming HMD Aura 2 Pro is not yet known.
