Infinix has confirmed the launch of its ‘Infinix GT 50 Pro‘ model in India on October 27. Although details regarding the hardware of the local version were withheld in the official announcement, the device had already been unveiled in Indonesia earlier this year.
The features hinted at for the Infinix GT 50 Pro align perfectly with those of the international version, suggesting that local buyers will receive the same internal hardware.
Infinix GT 50 Pro global Features
Its global Infinix GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPS panel with 1.5K resolution. It offers a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, ensuring the display remains clearly visible even under direct sunlight.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultimate processor. This mid-range chipset ensures excellent speed for daily use and maintains smooth performance without significant frame drops during heavy gaming. If the variant launching in the Indian market retains the same chipset, it will prove to be an outstanding gaming device.

It features a massive 6,500mAh battery that easily lasts more than a day with standard use. It supports wired charging up to 45W and also offers 30W wireless charging for added convenience. We do not expect any changes regarding the battery.
As for software, the phone runs on the Android 16-based XOS 16 operating system. Infinix has promised five major operating system upgrades for this device—a commitment that will likely apply to India as well.
In terms of cameras, the handset features a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor on the back. For selfies and video calls, it includes a 13-megapixel front sensor.
