The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) of the United Arab Emirates has recently approved a new smartphone bearing the model number XT2625-15. Regulatory documents confirm that Motorola is preparing to launch the ‘Moto G47 Power’.
Moto G47 Power Details
Receiving TDRA certification indicates that the wireless device complies with the UAE’s national technical standards without causing network interference; however, the listing did not disclose specific hardware details. Instead, recent information and leaks surrounding the Moto G47 Power confirm that the phone has secured all necessary approvals for market release. It may soon be launched in India as well.

Motorola is positioning this upcoming device as an upgraded version of the standard ‘Moto G47’; notably, the standard Moto G47 model was launched in several European countries last April. Since Motorola has previously introduced only the ‘Power‘ variants of its G-series handsets in India, the same regional marketing strategy might be followed for the ‘Motorola Moto G47 Power’.
The company typically uses the ‘Power’ branding for devices equipped with high-capacity batteries. The standard model features a 5,200 mAh battery; this implies that the new variant could house a battery with a capacity of 7,000 mAh or higher, ensuring multi-day battery life for heavy users.

The key features of the Moto G47 Power are expected to be based on the standard model. The standard Moto G47 features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,050 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
In terms of internal hardware, the standard variant is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU; it comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, running on the Android 16 operating system with Hello UI. Consumers can expect the Moto G47 Power to prioritize reliable battery backup or longevity over raw processing power.
