The gaming smartphone market has a new performance leader with the global launch of the Redmagic 11s Pro on May 27, 2026. This release follows its official debut in China on May 18, 2026. Buyers can start placing orders on June 10, 2026, through the manufacturer’s official online store. The smartphone stands out for delivering high-end performance at a price comparable to traditional upper mid-range devices.
Nubia has surpassed mainstream flagship competitors by focusing on sustained peak performance and specialized cooling. The Redmagic 11s Pro serves as a direct upgrade to the recently released Redmagic 11 Pro. Although the two models share a nearly identical design, the newer S-variant introduces important improvements in processing speed and battery efficiency. This device targets mobile gamers who want to avoid thermal throttling during long gameplay sessions.
Speed Enhancements and Advanced Thermal Control
The primary upgrade in the Redmagic 11s Pro is its processing power. The device uses an overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This upgraded chip boosts clock rates to 4.74 GHz, while the standard Redmagic 11 Pro caps performance at 4.6 GHz. This increase gives the newer model an edge over mainstream competitors like the OnePlus 15 5G and the iQOO 15, both of which use the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset at lower speeds.

Maintaining these higher speeds requires solid thermal management, which the internal active fan helps provide. Redmagic has included the AquaCore cooling system from the standard 11 Pro model. This system combines an active, waterproof 24,000 RPM fan with a large 13,116 mm² 3D Vapor Chamber and a server-grade fluorinated liquid cooling loop.
In contrast, competitors like the iQOO 15 rely only on passive cooling sheets, giving the Redmagic device a significant advantage in thermal stability. Despite having a physical internal fan, the smartphone achieves an IPX8 water resistance rating, though it lacks official dust resistance certification.
Full Screen Visuals and Camera
The display design of the Redmagic 11s Pro focuses on providing an uninterrupted viewing experience. The phone features a 6.85-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2688 × 1216 pixels. Unlike the OnePlus 15 5G, which has a traditional punch-hole cutout, this panel has no notches or holes. The 16 MP f/2.0 selfie camera is completely integrated beneath the screen, a technology refined from previous models to remain invisible in normal use.

The screen offers a fast 144Hz refresh rate and a 2592Hz PWM flicker rate to reduce eye strain during late-night gaming. It can reach a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, ensuring good visibility in direct sunlight. This matches the display specs of the standard Redmagic 11 Pro, although it falls short of the iQOO 15’s claimed peak brightness of 6,000 nits.
On the back, the phone has a 50 MP f/1.9 main camera with a 1/1.55-inch sensor, a 50 MP f/2.0 ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro shooter. This setup provides decent photography capabilities, but it does not include the dedicated 3.5x optical telephoto lenses found on the OnePlus 15 5G and iQOO 15.
Regional Battery and Connectivity
Redmagic has made changes to the battery configurations for regional versions of the Redmagic 11s Pro. The global edition comes with a 7,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 80W wired charging and 80W wireless fast charging. Interestingly, the Chinese version of the same phone has a larger 8,000mAh battery but does not support wireless charging. Meanwhile, the top-tier Chinese Redmagic 11s Pro+ drops to a 7,500mAh capacity but boosts wired charging speed to 120W.
The global model keeps an impressive balance by maintaining the 80W wireless charging capability seen on the Redmagic 11 Pro. It also supports bypass charging, allowing gamers to run the internal components directly from a wall outlet to prevent excess heat build-up.
For connectivity, the device uses a 360-degree antenna system to ensure a stable cellular signal, no matter how the user holds the phone. Physical features include responsive 520Hz capacitive shoulder triggers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a dedicated slider switch to launch the gaming space.
Redmagic 11s Pro: Price & Competition
The global pricing strategy makes the Redmagic 11s Pro a strong contender in the premium market. The base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage has a retail price of $799, which is about 76,836 rupees. Moving up to the 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage option raises the price to $899, or roughly 86,452 rupees. The phone comes in two unique semi-transparent finishes called Nightfreeze and Subzero.

This pricing keeps the device competitive against mainstream choices. Traditional flagships launching in mid-2026 with similar Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 hardware often have higher price tags while offering smaller batteries and passive cooling systems. By keeping the price close to its predecessor, Redmagic targets buyers who want raw performance over camera zoom features. The inclusion of UFS 4.1 storage speeds ensures fast app load times compared to older devices with base UFS 4.0 configurations.
The Redmagic 11s Pro is an excellent choice for serious mobile gamers who want maximum frame rates without thermal drops. Buyers who already own the standard Redmagic 11 Pro may not have a strong reason to upgrade, as the slight processor clock speed increase is the main performance difference.
However, users moving from older devices will find the combination of an active cooling fan, a large 7,500mAh battery, and a notch-free display very appealing. Casual users who value advanced zoom photography or top-tier dust protection might still prefer the better camera systems of the iQOO 15 or OnePlus 15 5G. For pure gaming performance for the price, the Redmagic 11s Pro sets a high standard for the rest of 2026.
