A few days ago, recent teasers on Amazon India caught our attention. Today, an official tweet by Redmi India finally confirmed the highly anticipated Redmi Turbo 5 India launch. The promotional images reveal that the official Redmi Turbo 5 release date is set for June 16, 2026.
Premium Design and Aggressive Styling
The official teaser images reveal a contemporary flat-edge frame that gives the device a sharp, modern grip. You can expect three matte finishes at launch, including dark charcoal, mint green, and stark white. A subtle vertical textured stripe runs down the right side of the rear panel, meeting a minimalist Redmi logo at the bottom. The right edge holds the volume rocker and a power button, which stands out thanks to a distinct red accent.

The rear camera layout moves away from a traditional raised island. Instead, the two lenses sit vertically in individual circular cut-outs directly on the back panel. Striking dual red rings highlight both camera lenses, giving the phone a gaming-centric look. A standard circular LED flash sits right next to the top lens, completing the clean rear design.
High-End Performance and Next-Gen Storage
The core Redmi Turbo 5 specs focus heavily on raw speed. The phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra 4nm chipset, paired with ultra-fast LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This hardware combination means faster app loading times and smooth multitasking under heavy loads. Out of the box, the device operates on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which is built on top of Android 16.
On the front, you get a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat OLED display that supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, the rear setup uses a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization to prevent blurry shots, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 20MP front camera sits on the display for handling selfies.

Game-Changing Battery Life and Expected Pricing
The most significant feature of the Redmi Turbo 5 India launch is the massive 7,560mAh battery. This is an enormous capacity for a standard smartphone, designed to deliver multi-day battery life even during heavy gaming sessions. To keep downtime minimal, the phone supports 100W wired fast charging to top up that giant cell quickly.
High-end configurations will push the expected Redmi Turbo 5 price in India into a higher bracket. The 12GB RAM with 512GB storage option and the 16GB RAM with 256GB storage variant are both expected to sell for around ₹48,945. The absolute top-tier model, featuring 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, will likely cost about ₹54,031 online.
