Buyers will notice significant changes compared to the older POCO F8 Pro; the previous model featured the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a relatively smaller 6,210 mAh battery. In contrast, the new model comes with a slightly larger 6,330 mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless ‘HyperCharge’ technology. Additionally, it offers 27W wired and 22.5W wireless reverse charging capabilities via the USB Type-C port.

Every feature of the POCO F9 Pro is centered around its superb 6.59-inch ultra-bright AMOLED display. It supports a refresh rate of up to 185Hz and is capable of delivering a peak brightness of 10,000 nits on 1% of the screen area. The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and the entire screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. This remarkable refresh rate and exceptional brightness are enough to elevate your gaming experience to a whole new level.

Thanks to the ultra-fast LPDDR5X 9600Mbps memory and UFS 4.1 storage, its memory performance is exceptionally rapid. The base model, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at $699 (approximately ₹67,270). Meanwhile, those seeking higher capacity can purchase the high-end version—with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage—for $769 (approximately ₹73,990).

Its new 200-megapixel (MP) main camera significantly outperforms the standard 50-megapixel lens found in last year’s POCO F8 Pro. It also features a 50-megapixel floating telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Selfies captured with the 32-megapixel front camera appear exceptionally crisp and clear. These specifications make the POCO F9 Pro a formidable rival to the OPPO Reno 16 Pro 5G and the vivo V70 FE.
