As the successor to last year’s model, the new ‘Nothing Headphone (1) Pro’ offers up to 68 hours of playback and 46dB adaptive noise cancellation. This represents a significant upgrade over the previous ‘Nothing Headphone (1)’, which featured custom-made 40mm speakers, 42dB active noise cancellation, and 35 hours of battery life with ANC enabled.
Its audio hardware features a triple-driver setup, comprising a 40mm bass driver, a 13 x 8mm precision dynamic driver, and a 3.2 x 6.0 x 1.15mm xMEMS solid-state treble tweeter driver. ‘Nothing’ collaborated with Metropolis Studios on the audio tuning. It offers ‘Dynamic Spatial Audio’ with head tracking and a total of five listening profiles or modes, including ‘Studio B’.

This Nothing Headphone (1) Pro supports High-Resolution (Hi-Res) audio and LDAC connectivity, enabling wireless playback at up to 24-bit/96kHz. Lossless digital audio up to 24-bit/192kHz is available via the USB-C connection, while the 3.5mm input supports analog signals up to 24-bit/96kHz. Its hybrid ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) system operates using ten microphones. Additionally, a separate array of four microphones utilizing DNN-based processing handles call functions to reduce wind noise and ambient sounds.
No information has leaked regarding the exact launch date of the ‘Nothing Headphone (1) Pro’ in India, although the headphones have been listed on Nothing’s Indian website. These headphones feature Bluetooth 6.1 along with support for AAC, SBC, LDAC, and LC3 codecs. Users will also get features such as Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, dual connectivity, low-lag mode, and in-ear detection.

Weighing 327 grams, this headset features a design that combines titanium and aluminum, with earcups that can rotate or tilt up to 20 degrees. Rated IP52, the headset offers controls via physical rollers, paddles, and buttons. Its 1,060 mAh battery provides up to 68 hours of AAC playback without ANC and 30 hours with ANC enabled. For LDAC playback, it offers up to 53 hours without ANC and 28 hours with ANC on. A mere five-minute charge allows for up to four hours of playback with ANC turned off.
