Red Magic 12 Pro+ Launch specifications
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, it ensures smooth performance without any lag, even during heavy gaming. Its processing power is significantly superior to that of the previous model, guaranteeing fast loading and seamless multitasking. Notably, the same chipset is used in the OnePlus 16 and iQOO 16, promising an excellent gaming experience.
Compared to last year’s bulky and thick design, the new model is lighter, slimmer, and features a more rounded appearance. The display bezel has been reduced from a visible thickness of around 1.25mm to a nearly invisible 0.96mm.
One of the standout features of the Red Magic 12 Pro+ is its 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, which remains unchanged from the previous model. The under-display front camera has also been retained, ensuring gamers enjoy an uninterrupted, full-screen viewing experience.

Recent leaks reveal that the Red Magic 12 Pro+ will feature an 8,400 mAh battery. This massive battery capacity offers significantly longer usage time compared to previous models, allowing the phone to be used for extended periods without needing a charging outlet.
The device supports ultra-fast 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. Consequently, charging such a high-capacity battery will take only a few minutes instead of hours. Red Magic is placing special emphasis on battery and charging capabilities.
To manage the heat generated by the new processor, Red Magic has teased an undisclosed active cooling technology.
