Android Headlines recently leaked significant information about a Motorola wide foldable phone, providing detailed specifications for the device, which bears the codename “Parker.” Known internally as the “Razr Flex,” this Motorola wide foldable phone is expected to hit the market in mid-December.
The key specifications of this wide foldable phone from Motorola include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. One of the phone’s standout features is its 6.92-inch OLED inner display, which boasts a resolution of 1728 x 2364, support for HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and a 165Hz refresh rate. Its cover screen is a 4.97-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1736 x 1140.
Its internal screen is smaller than the 7.6-inch panels found on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and iPhone Duo, as well as the 7.58-inch screen of the Xiaomi 18 Fold. However, Motorola’s 165Hz refresh rate easily outperforms its 120Hz displays.
The Motorola Wide Foldable measures 110 x 149 x 5.8 mm when unfolded and 110 x 76 x 12.6 mm when folded, weighing 215 grams. Its relatively thicker build accommodates a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery, which supports USB-PD wired charging and 25W Qi2 wireless charging.
The pill- or capsule-shaped module on the back houses a 50-megapixel main camera with 30x digital zoom and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The device supports IP48 and IP49 ratings and Wi-Fi 7, as well as Bluetooth 6.0 with LE Audio. It also features a physical nano-SIM slot and supports eSIM functionality.
It will launch with Android 17 pre-installed. The power button on the right side doubles as a fingerprint scanner, and it also features a dedicated physical AI key.
